So nice here! We saw a deer swim across the river & a golden eagle within the first hour. Site 12 & 13 right on the river with a deck and the rest have healthy grass & big shade trees. Owner super nice & gives a detailed map of the area. You are a 2 minute walk to dinner & a bar. You can't beat the value here!

Our entire visit was fabulous, and Andrea's On The River had a lot to do with our delightful time here!

We came here on our 1 year wedding anniversary and stayed in the little cabin. It was very cozy and comfortable. The owners are dear friends of ours and made the weekend very special for us! Loved every minute of it and the location is beautiful. It’s about a 15 minute walk to downtown Salmon which is fun to explore. Would definitely go again!

This campground was small and quiet. We did book one of the 2 VIP River sites. It was well worth the upgrade as our RV opened right onto a concrete pad and wooden balcony overlooking the river. After a long day driving it was a wonderful treat. The only downside would be the extra charge for showers at $8 that would be an additional $32 for my family to shower. I have never encountered a fee so hi... This campground was small and quiet. We did book one of the 2 VIP River sites. I have never encountered a fee so high and was surprised the cost was not mentioned on the website. We did have full hook ups so didn’t need the dump station but I did notice it was another additional fee, $12 to dump. That being said it was a lovely spot just would like to see the additional charges noted online to avoid the surprise.
