Recommended an off road vehicle with tires for sharp and rocky roads. Heavy and deep ruts. Tried to reach by 2 different roads. Definitely not able to reach it by car. 4.5 miles from the campground and I had to turn around!

Most beautiful lake in the trinity mountains. Best camp spot, best price. Bathrooms were rough but amazing wild life. Between moose and large deer roaming through camp at night it definitely is an experience.

Fantastic camping spot! The lakes are beautiful and it's fun to go around and see them all. Camp grounds are great very well maintained. That being said I mor than likely wont go out again unless they focus a bit of attention to the road out. Honestly with how well kept the grounds are you would think they would take a little better care of the road. Mosquitoes are a bit abundant so bring something for them a lot of something also if you use led lights and lanterns they dont attract bugs... Camp grounds are great very well maintained. Would recomend but if you care about your truck or car I would rent a car or drive something that you dont mind a rough and I mean rough road. There were times i was doing maybe 5 mph but if you go up to the lookout at sunset the view is amazing
