No fee, no reservation campground with around 15 sites, all with a table, fire pit, and beautiful view of the reservoir. Gravel access road is steep, winding, and a little rough down the last stretch but had no trouble in a sedan. Vault toilets very clean in early summer 2025. Didn’t notice any water pumps (I brought my own water). Firewood bundles available on the way in at 46.5201, -116.2120.... Beautiful and quiet spot, plenty of sites to choose from even on Memorial Day Weekend. Would love to camp here again.

I went to check out this campground because it's free, love the fact it's on the water but it's not easy to get down to the water. Now it's 5 miles of gravel road after the pavement ends, it was oiled when I went up there but the last mile is washbored an very bumpy. Now there is a half mile of straight downhill, 15%? grade that has very lose gravel on top with giant pot holes. I had a awd vehicle... I would look at the road before you drive down it.

Handful of decent campsites outfitted with picnic tables and fire ring as well as two bathrooms. Virtually zero access to water as the shoreline there is extremely steep and rocky. There is a boat launch that provides some access but it's limited. I would recommend this place to maybe some older folks or to someone with a boat or anyone who doesn't want access to the water. Will not be returning f... Handful of decent campsites outfitted with picnic tables and fire ring as well as two bathrooms. June 2019. Free. Fishing is limited from shore. Excellent from boat. Gorgeous views, quiet. Off the beaten path and 20 minutes from Orofino
