Until the plumbing issues get resolved this is a beautiful place but the mice and the midnight wee runs will make it too much work. My friends still aren't speaking to me. Make it a day trip, very worth seeing.

When this was a ranger station in the 60's, I was probably 3 or 4 yrs old. We'd go a little past, turn north at the bridge, go down camping @ Independence Creek. Magical area. Especially in the 63 Bonneville.....Dad tore the muffler off. I thought it sounded great, Mom? Not so much, 🤣

So much history here. There used to be 6th grade camp here, been coming here since 1970s. Spyglass lookout tower used to be on maps but has been removed
