The Elite sites are very nice. The management staff needs to be more flexible. There were multiple campers blocking access at the entrance because it was 12:50 and check in is 1:00. The woman refused to let anyone in without charging the $30 early check in fee. I get "it's policy" but in my 30+ years camping at countless campgrounds I've never experienced this rigid policy. I get "it's policy" but in my 30+ years camping at countless campgrounds I've never experienced this rigid policy. This doesn't happen at family-owned campgrounds, they have flexibility and don't start arguments over 10 minutes. If she knew how to speak to people with any kind of tact she could have diffused the situation but was confrontational and escalated the situation.

We rented this cabin just to sleep at night. We were up early each day shopping and exploring new places we have not visited before. Cabin was clean and very comfortable except the beds. Very quiet area. The camp sites are nice sized and there's a variety of types to choose from. The 2 pools are now heated and there's other activities to do as well. The mini golf course is really in sad condition and needs to be rebuilt, but it can still be played. Overall a great place to stay

We stayed here as part of our Thousand Trails membership. I tried to book online but it said there was limited availability and I had to call for the reservation. I asked for a premium site but was told a standard site would be suitable for our trailer. What they didn’t mention was that a standard site wasn’t full hookups. I tried to book online but it said there was limited availability and I had to call for the reservation. I asked for a premium site but was told a standard site would be suitable for our trailer. What they didn’t mention was that a standard site wasn’t full hookups. When we arrived, we found out we had no sewer connection. Luckily, we were able to go without dumping for the time we were there. We were in one of a group of 14 sites with 50 amp service & electric. Only 2 of the 13 other sites were occupied when we arrived; one was next to us & one across from us. It would have been nice to have more space between the occupied sites. Our site was at the end of the road which was nice. All the sites had picnic tables & fire rings. As there were 9 unused sites in the area we were in, I’m not sure why we were unable to book a site online. We didn’t use any of the amenities offered but the campground seemed well maintained. They were adding stone to the roads the day we arrived. We would have liked to play mini golf but the course needed cleaning from the tree debris. We would have had to sweep most of the holes to play. The people in the office seemed friendly and helpful. There were plenty of weekend activities & it was quiet at night. I imagine this would be a great campground for families with children. This campground is close to our house so I don’t know if we will go there again. We were camping for the first time in a new trailer and didn’t want to be far from home in case we had any problems so this location was ideal for our needs.

First time tent camping with our 3 kiddos. Absolutely LOVED our experience at Spring Gulch! Everything about it. Location, site size, friendly staff, activities for the whole family, very clean, and just beautiful. We will definitely be back and highly recommend!
