Absolutely stunning views. We came in after dark, so waking to the view was awesome! Well worth the trip.

I am giving it a 5 for the views-I was in AWE with the view. We stayed last Sunday/Monday. I would recommend a high clearance vehicle to get up to the lookout. We had one couple drive up in an ATV, punch in the code (they obviously need to re-program the code) and drive right on up. An hour after that, another couple walked on up to check out the place. We thought it was pretty rude considering we paid to stay there. I do recommend checking it out-hopefully they will take care of the issues :)

This rustic gem will bring you closer to nature and yourself than anything. Bring lots of water and your camera. Oh! And don’t forget to duck when you open the door to the toilet! Do what you can to get reservations, it’s 100% worth the trip!

I did not stay in the lookout. I camped outside of it. Beautiful view of the sunrise on one end of the mountain and sunset on the other!

What a unique place. Not quite glamping but a step above a tent. Amazing views and weather! I doubt if any two stays are the same.
