We absolutely loved the cabin. Quite cold when we visited but the views were absolutely beautiful and so quiet and very peaceful. No service so call family before dropping down away from the towm noise. The road to the cabin was maintained due to residents up the road, saying that I wouldn't go winter season in a sedan, we got 5 inches fresh snow just before leaving. Roads are very narrow and hard... We absolutely loved the cabin. Quite cold when we visited but the views were absolutely beautiful and so quiet and very peaceful. Roads are very narrow and hard to determine the edge... personal experience speaking here lol. But thankfully there are amazing folks that stood in that cold helping me get my Rove out . We have been twice booking is easy and always enjoyable. Ps great thanks to the rangers and fellow Forrest lovers for keeping this area beautiful

We stayed in it for 2 nights the end of September. It was wonderful, we have a 1 yo and a 3 yo..they had a blast and it was very convenient with the cold nights. The stove is top of the line quality. Built one fire the whole time I was there and through the day I was able to shut it down and it held. The beds are pretty uncomfortable, but did the job..would highly recommend it..

Stayed in this cabin 2 times and going back in June to stay for 2 weeks. The cabin has a creek running beside of it and if you have a large pot you can boil creek water on the stove for using. I drink bottle water but use the creek water for cooking and dishes. There is a sink in the kitchen and bathroom and tub in the bathroom. Elk City has a laundromat and shower available. Directions say use Cr... Stayed in this cabin 2 times and going back in June to stay for 2 weeks.
