YELLOW MULE CABIN

We really liked the place from the moment we arrived. The owner is very friendly and accommodating. We stayed in cottage 1. Recently renovated, it still kept its old school/minimalist feel which we appreciated. There is no cooktop in the kitchenette but that wasn't a problem as we had brought our camp stove and cooked on the tailgate of our truck while looking at the Tetons. Very peaceful surroun... There is no cooktop in the kitchenette but that wasn't a problem as we had brought our camp stove and cooked on the tailgate of our truck while looking at the Tetons. Very peaceful surroundings despite being close to the highway leading into Yellowstone. (Yes, traffic on US 20 gets hectic at times) The view of the Tetons was SPECTACULAR and WITHOUT the premium pricing usually associated with such gorgeous surroundings. It was a good value for what we paid. I would much rather stay in a cottage like that than a five star hotel.

We stayed 2 nights in cabin 3. The cabin was very clean. The shower was hot with great water pressure. We were in Ashton for a marathon and half marathon a short distance away. The bed was comfortable and cabin was stocked with more than most people would need. We enjoyed eating at a pizza place on main street, and breakfast at another restaurant in town.
