We were there a few weeks ago. The whole facility was a 10. We were greeted on arrival, they unloaded our tack and hay at our covered pens. I have a living quarters horse trailer, having full hookups was wonderful. The owners and camp hosts went out of their way to be helpful. It was excellent. It was a spacious, modern cabin, and very clean!! The kitchen was well supplied for all our cooking needs. They were generous with towels and toilet paper, something you don’t find everywhere!! The wife and I travel often with our horses and camp. We have stayed at a few different horse camps in South Dakota and Hell Canyon is definitely our favorite to date. Hell Canyon is a wonderful horse camp and the camp hosts are terrific! Was there last year and absolutely loved it. Was hoping to go again this year but 'life' has had other plans for us. Hopefully we'll make it back there next year... The wife and I travel often with our horses and camp. Great owners and facilities! The cabin was nice, clean had plenty of room for the 6 of us. The barn and stalls were clean, spacious and had every thing we needed. Very secure also. The nearby trails were great for long or short rides. This is the most beautiful country!

Great cabins, nice horse facilties. Access to NFS trails is great. All people and services are top line. Wish it was a little farther off the highway, but convenient to Custer.
