About Wine Region RV Resort

Campground in Idaho.

Wine Region RV Resort offers the perfect basecamp for exploring one of Idaho's most scenic and distinctive destinations. Located in Marsing, a charming community in Owyhee County, this RV park sits at the heart of Idaho's renowned wine country, where rolling vineyards stretch across sun-drenched valleys and award-winning wineries welcome visitors year-round.

The Marsing area has undergone a remarkable transformation over the past few decades, evolving into a destination that rivals more established wine regions. The Snake River Valley, where Marsing is situated, has gained international recognition for producing exceptional wines, particularly bold reds and crisp whites that reflect the region's unique terroir. The combination of volcanic soil, high desert climate, and cool nights creates ideal conditions for viticulture, and you'll find numerous family-owned wineries within easy driving distance of the resort.

Beyond wine tasting, the region offers abundant outdoor recreation opportunities. The Owyhee River provides excellent fishing and rafting experiences for those seeking adventure on the water. Nearby public lands offer hiking, bird watching, and scenic drives through some of Idaho's most dramatic landscape. Spring wildflower displays are particularly spectacular, painting the hillsides in brilliant colors. The area's dark skies also make it an excellent destination for stargazing, especially during clear desert nights.

Marsing itself maintains a genuine small-town character with local restaurants, shops, and a welcoming community atmosphere. The town serves as a cultural hub for the region, hosting seasonal events and farmers markets that showcase local products and crafts. For those interested in outdoor heritage and history, nearby sites provide insight into the area's ranching past and Native American significance.

This location appeals to travelers seeking a slower pace of life combined with world-class wine experiences, outdoor enthusiasts looking for hiking and water recreation, and anyone wanting to escape crowded tourist destinations while still enjoying excellent amenities and attractions. Whether you're planning a long-term wine country retreat or a weekend getaway, Wine Region RV Resort provides a comfortable home base for experiencing authentic Idaho hospitality and natural beauty.

It's close enough to all major cities and just far enough out to avoid people and noisey traffic. THEY even have a shuttle service to all the delightful vinyards here for a wine tasting extravagaza. Come stay relax and enjoy!!!!

The only grass is at the tiny dog park and tiny playground. Be careful where you step. No nice restaurants nearby. Pair-a-Dice is a dive bar advertising prime rib on weekends, but it's short staffed and half the menu is not available. Expect to wait an hour, even at 6:30. The Mexican restaurant might be better, but it was closed. This "resort" is one or two barren acres, bulldozed between Main St and farmfields, and it's full. Somebody is making money. Management is friendly enough. This place is the pits. Conveniently located halfway between Bend, OR and Pocatello, ID. Look for a county park instead.

We’ve loved our time here, owners are very friendly, the park is great, there’s grass for the kids to play on as well and a dog park that’s well cared for. Monthly rate is very reasonable for the area, good coffee shops nearby, wineries/distilleries and close to hiking/fishing. Small town feel/quiet, yet close to everything, highly recommended!
