Really nice campground with the river within walking distance. It was the end of October so not many people, probably more crows then anything. The springs and old mill were definitely gorgeous, worth the visit for sure. The campground spaces seemed tight but there are some spots that wouldn't be bad in the middle of summer.

This is a beautiful place with a couple of great trails nearby. The government was shut down on our recent visit so the mill was closed, but we have visited it in the past.

Great campsite. Clean showers and bathrooms that are modern. Wish they would have dim outdoor light on bathroom. Lights up the whole sky unfortunately.

We are new to Missouri and were told this is a must see. I’m glad we went! It’s a bit of a drive from Springfield, but so worth it! The water is absolutely gorgeous!! Be sure to hike around the mill. Because we went during winter months, the tour hadn’t started up so we will have to go back for that. There are some informational posts so you can still get some history even without the tour.
