We hardly had much space for anything. We came for one night as a pass through so thankfully we didn’t need a whole lot. The grounds are very cramped overall and sadly the permanent neighbors were loud until 2am. There’s a bar and people were out all night. The bathrooms aren’t great and stalls are separated by plywood walls. The grounds were ok as far as mowed and free of trash and debris but the permanent spots for many looked run down, rusted and homemade. This just wasn’t a campground we were expecting to visit overnight and given the price having to hear people scream all night wasn’t great.

Probably the worst campground I have been to.... This is a long story but will give context to the whole experience. This is a long story but will give context to the whole experience. I booked a spot at this campground for one night because it was halfway between my house and chicago. I went to book online and a 1 night stay was $50 plus $7 in 'campground fees'. I pick my spot on the map because I knew that I was going to have to leave early in the morning while it was still dark so i wanted to hook up and pull out with little effort to be respectful of other that were camping. looking at the map I picked a spot that was angled toward the road so it was perfect. When I went to check out, it asked if I wanted to spend ANOTHER $19 to 'guarantee' my spot. I said no, thinking I already picked it so why do I need to spend more. At check out it said that my spot was now 'subject to change'. Which is insane to me with rate and fees spending $75 per night for a spot that is only water and 30-amp electric. I took the risk and booked it anyway cuz I was out of options. Called the night before to find out when I could drop it off on my way to Chicago. I pull in at 11am on a Saturday afternoon and no one was in the office. So i couldn't check in with anyone. I had to create an account to a different website to check in. There was a large sign that says all of the roads are one-way, which is pretty normal but that was not marked on the map when I was booking the site (green arrows - That will come in to play in a minute). As were driving around the campground all of the other campers looked like junk. Every camper had shelters built over them that looked like materials that were pulled from a dumpster. They even had one camper converted to a bar for the campground (Again will come into play later). The place was huge and majority were long term sites. Which is fine but the sites looked so junky. Finally we get down the road where our site is supposed to be and the site is facing the wrong way! There was a pull through site on the corner, and another site on the other side, both were graveled mine was just in the grass and the only way I knew it was my site was because the electrical box was numbered. I had to with my camper either go back around the whole campground again in the wrong direction to back my camper in or do a 30 point turn to turn around. The site on either side were the full hook up site for $75 a night mine was slipped in between. I finally get my camper in and off the truck, I plug in the camper and the 30 amp plug doesn't work. The breaker was reset a couple times and still doesn't work. I had no choice because I had to leave so I had to drive to where I was going and wait till the office opened to talk to someone about it. Called them and they said that they were going to get maintenance over to it. I received no follow up or anything all day, so I assumed no news is good news. We make it back after the funeral I went to around 11 pm. Thankfully the lights were on so power was working. I get my family in the camper and take my dog for a walk around 11:30-12am and there were people at 4 or 5 different places yelling and laughing and yelling at people at their campsites. I get back to my camper to try and go to bed after a long day and knowing I have to be up around 5:30 the next day. Till about 2am people were continuing to yell and scream being belligerent. There was even people fighting over at the park across the campground that I could hear inside my camper with a sleeping baby. I had to leave in the morning on 3 hrs of sleep because of all the noise. I went to the bathroom in the morning by the office, which should be the nicest bathroom in the campground, but it wasn't. I have been in state maintained campgrounds that were half the cost that were 10 times nicer than that place. They had one light in the middle of the room plywood stalled that were online about 4ft tall and they were dirty. When I left I didn't care about the one way I had to pull out and wasn't trying to turn around in that corner again. I will never be back period overpriced and horrible experience

My four year old granddaughter visited twice, she loved the mini golf and playground area. We were lucky enough to stay Labor Day weekend during their annual fundraiser. The walking tacos provided by campground kids were amazing, wonderful vendor booths and I won a raffle prize🙂I only visited the restrooms with granddaughter and it was always clean and fresh smelling. The sites are tight but being FT RVers it is something we run into quite often. Thank you for a wonderful month.

We stayed last weekend for the first time they didn't mention to us on the phone when I reserved gun range next door so gun fire all weekend. Right spots slide to slide. Also felt very clicky and not welcoming also had concert sat night and the pot smoke can't deal with that. Not gonna stay here again

We're pleasantly surprised by how easy it was to make a reservation online. The place was obviously well cared for and clean. The bathrooms are dated but very functional. It looks like a great place for family with mini golf and lots of room to run around, nice big playground. The community center was large at some arcade games. There is a large covered venue for musical acts would a large stage.... We're pleasantly surprised by how easy it was to make a reservation online. The place was obviously well cared for and clean.
