The pool and the resort room with games appeared to be more for the homes around the area vs. the villas and campground. I say this because the pool was always packed during the week with no RV's in the campground. The Ugly: This campground is more of an after thought to the villas and home that already here. No front desk to check in with, just a stand with folders like after hour check in. Pulled in no 50 amp electric with no electricity. Was told because of storm, and then maintenance said it was my surge protector. Plugged into site next to us and had electric, turns out the ground was faulty and my surge protector prevented it from going through. Next day they said they would come repair, no show. Next issue is no internet, OH this was because of storm also. Went to the pro shop and they couldn't help, the person that could is working from home, really at a resort???? Very unprofessional staff at pro shop desk, sitting with knees propped up on chair and a blanket. Asked to speak with manager and you guessed it that is the one working from home. They did offer that I could leave my RV, and the site i am paying for with amenities to use the internet at the pro shop. This is a family owned business and it shows.

Our only suggestion is if coming into the campground it Y's if you go to the left the tree branches need to be trimmed back so not to scratch your RV. Luckily we were able to go to the right to avoid this. The other suggestion is they need to rid or trim back the dead tree next to site 16. If bad weather or a very windy day could cause dead tree branches to fall and do damage to your RV or awning. We will definitely be back again and the pricing is very reasonable for full hookup. Overall I'd give it ten🌟⭐️🌟⭐️🌟⭐️🌟⭐️🌟⭐️ They even had a fabulous fireworks show Saturday night. I thought it was better than the Shelbyville show the night before. P.S. to future visitors don't let your pets do their business on the turf. This is a luxury they have provided to make your stay even more enjoyable don't abuse it. 😊

Great, small RV park. Full hook ups, quiet area, all gravel and they added AstroTurf to each site so you have some nice soft ground to walk on. Wifi was spotty. Back in and pull through spots that are pretty level. Didn't use the bathrooms but they looked clean. There is an outdoor pool and workout room available to use. Spectacular RV campground in the middle of Illinois. We only stayed one night, but it was very nice. Fall colors, a lake, and if you're a golfer, they have a golf course too. We stayed there cuz it's 4 miles from the Lincoln Bike trail, and we rode that.

This is a nice, small RV resort tucked away beside a lake and golf course. They are all full hook-up sites with both back in and pull-thru options. My only complaint is that the wifi is tricky and spotty and didn't work well for us but it's not a big deal for us, either. We met the family that owns and runs the resort and golf course and they couldn't be nicer! We will definitely be back.
