ingleside is popular during peak season. Reserve 2-4 weeks in advance for weekends and holidays.
Most parks have check-in after 1:00 PM and check-out by 11:00 AM. Call ahead if you'll arrive late.
Illinois weather can change quickly. Pack layers and check the forecast for ingleside.

The bartender was rude and blatantly said she didn't want me to run off on my tab. Like she knew me or something. Who wants to go to a place that accuses you of theft in the first sentence. Not I. I paid my 5 bucks and left. Not worth a breath, but this review will do

This is a very nice lake, the water is not too deep. There is a rare chance that you might stumble across duck poop. There is Popsicles that I got from the bar, and there is a spot for volleyball :). There is both hot water and cold water. We payed $15 to go in, and it was very fun.

Take it from somebody who LIVED HERE. The owner, Grace, and her mother, Harriet, are abusive and threatening. The owner, Grace, and her mother, Harriet, are abusive and threatening. They harassed me every single day for no reason, even going so far as to corner and threaten me behind a closed door with a group of men on the other side. This is not just unprofessional, it’s dangerous. Do not support this bar!!! Then their staff had the nerve to ask me to deal with their mice problems behind the counter not once, but TWICE! Not only is there harassment, the place is a health hazard. This bar is unsafe, unsanitary, and flat-out disrespectful. Do yourself a favor and stay far away!! Between the dirty facilities and lack of hygiene, this place is not somewhere I’d recommend to ANYONE, don’t bring your children here either unless you want them eating cigarette butts off the ground or finding a random baggie on the ground from the residents who live upstairs or maybe even finding a mouse to befriend!! If Grace & Harriet don’t like you, you can also experience their wickedness FOR FREE! I will never forget how these “people” treated me. Cant even call you people at this point what you do at this bar is UNHUMAN. I hope more people speak up about your business here because you deserve it!

First time there last night. Marina was a great bartender and friendly. The grounds are lovely with lots of tables to relax and enjoy drinks. The lake has beautiful views. We sat on the deck and enjoyed the weather. This bar has an excellent choice of beers and food til 5pm only. This my new local.
