We got in late, and they were super accommodating. We decided to stay a second night, also not a problem at all. They've got a few different animals roaming around. A few cute cats, with one in particular being very friendly (my bff for my stay). A flock of chickens, a couple roosters, ducks, and a goat! My kids loved seeing the animals. The lakes are beautiful. The grounds are peaceful and quiet... We got in late, and they were super accommodating. We decided to stay a second night, also not a problem at all. The employees are helpful and friendly. Also, Phil... I'm sorry we thought your name was Bill. Thank you guys for making my kids first real camping time magical 💜

It's a quiet small rustic campground about 3 miles from the freeway and surrounded by trees. It's not really a MH kind of place but we were able to get a level pull-thru small concrete pad for our 40' MH and tow for just $40 with FHU.

We stayed here for two nights in our RV while touring the sites in Lincoln, IL. They have full hook ups, two fish ponds and it's very quiet. Very reasonable price and the owner was friendly and very helpful.

The sites are spacious, well-maintained, and provide plenty of privacy, which made our stay incredibly relaxing. The staff was warm, welcoming, and always ready to assist with any questions or needs we had. The amenities are plentiful, with a great selection of activities to keep everyone entertained. Whether you're into hiking, fishing, or just enjoying a quiet evening by the fire, this place has it all. The campground is also conveniently located near several local attractions, making it an ideal spot for a weekend getaway or a longer stay. If I had to offer one suggestion for improvement, it would be to upgrade the laundry room and bathrooms. While they are functional, a bit of modernization would take this already wonderful campground to the next level. Overall, Hickory Lane Campground is a gem, and I can't wait to return for another stay. Highly recommend staying here!

It's a nice place but parking is limited.and the sites are close together. But it is a pleasant place to stay especially if you fish.
