This is basically a place to launch your fishing boat above the Lake Hurst Dam. There is room to fish along the bank on the South Fork of the Maquoketa River, about 100 yards long of mowed area. It's a pretty drive from Hwy. 64 to the river.

My opinion this is perfect for what I was looking for. There’s nothing there but a boat launch and a river bank to fish, but it’s very secluded and peaceful.
