Charlie and his wife are so warm and welcoming! They have everything you need down at the boathouse. Wood, bait, boats, coffee and food. We stayed about a week at the campground and they were nothing but helpful to us and showed us an awesome time. 100% recommend this campground for a weekend traveler looking to escape. Leave the technology in the car, you won’t need it here. The fishing is great... Charlie and his wife are so warm and welcoming! They have everything you need down at the boathouse. Had a grate time. I stayed about a week and thanks to Charlie down at the boathouse we had just about everything we needed for camping and fishing including bait, fresh breakfast, launch, firewood, ice and more. I will definitely be back if I'm ever in the area

Host is extremely helpful and friendly, if they could keep village employee mike Ingalls in check and off his high horse acting like he owns the place, it would of been 5 stars.

Vicki and Keith are the best host! We have stayed twice, last summer for two months and this summer for one month. The sites are large, porta-potties are dumped and cleaned every week, garbage picked up every week. They have 🏕️tent sites, water & electric sites, a dump station. Sure you hear the boats in the river sometimes but it’s also fun to watched them. We see canoes and kayakers go by.... Vicki and Keith are the best host! They have a very nice playground for the kids. They have a pavilion, firewood available for sale at dirt prices! Speaking of wood…the guys volunteer their time and cut the wood and all the $$ is used for the Halloween 🎃 party for all campers to attend. Vicki and Keith try very hard to get you the site that best fits you as well. Now there is a cabin you can rent!! Every year it seems they try and do some type of approvement to the campground. They do not tolerate any loud noise and campers that cause problems. We just can’t say enough great things about them and the campground! If you get a chance to camp here do it!!
