We are from Florida and have been to this State Park 3 times now. Inexpensive, especially compared to many other places we've been. $20 a night, electric only. Water spigots are scattered through the park. Most sites are well spaced, especially at the points. Very pretty, quiet, and full of nature. Lots of deer, turkeys, and yes, skunks. We stayed in the first come, first serve section, and the reserved section. We managed to get prime spots both times. It doesn't get a 5 because they are very lax on the rules here. We saw several campers that came, parked their rig, or just a kiddie tent (would never happen in Fl) and didn't pay! The 2 car per site rule is just laughed at. Host just does a cursory drive thru. Bathrooms were not very clean. Otherwise, for the price, it's great.

I love this campground! I wish they'd keep it cleaner like clean bathrooms/showers and clean up trash by the dumpster also check playground equipment because some stuff is broken and there's weeds all in the playground. They could mow more out by the water/rocks better. We love walking out there to watch sunset over the water! We'll definitely come back 😀

Just solo camped here in the Bay Loop while I was on a noodling trip on Rend Lake! Great campground. Ample toilets, showers and pit toilets. Lots of sites right on the lake. Some playgrounds and a bike/walking path. Each site has a picnic table and nice raised fire pit that has a grate. Very nice boat launch and docks. Was pretty quiet and peaceful when I went and camped. Will stay again. Cons:... Just solo camped here in the Bay Loop while I was on a noodling trip on Rend Lake! Great campground. My husband and I work out of town and live in our camper when we travel because we are gone for months and up to a year at a time. That being said we were grateful to be able to find a place 30 minutes from our work location. However, holy cow, did we ever pay for that convenience. The term “Resort” is used loosely here. I guess I always thought there was standard for using terms like that, but anyway let’s get into it, shall we? First off, the water, it is so bad that we will have to saturate our holding tanks in iron out and do many flushes before we’ll ever crack the surface on fixing our waterlines/holding tanks . We bought a water softener to help to elevate the damage but even an RV water softener was not enough. The ice maker in the refrigerator will have to be flushed if that’s even possible. My husband has a CPAP machine that requires distilled water. So we distilled our own water for this purpose, the tank after distilling this water was awful, which is basically saying that is what our waterlines and holding tanks look like as well. While we were there we also had to have our washing machine serviced because of the damage built up iron can do. So, during our stay, the water alone is going to cost us untold amounts of money and time to repair, not counting the 300.00 blanket I washed after first arriving and not knowing the condition on the water. (After getting back home I was able to have the blanket properly cleaned but it took several tries to finally get all the iron out without destroying the blanket if you are questioning the cost of the blanket it is a solid white Lola blanket look it up, they are that much.) Our camper is about a 75K camper so we are not thrilled with the time and money it is going to take to get everything back to where it was. Also, they pay people to mow the grass, and they damaged our camper because they got too close and the roll bar clipped the 5th wheel section of the camper. The also broke the picnic table, which I reported, they never came to get it and we just had to look at the eye sore and the grass grew up around it, right in front of the camper. My daughter tore her front bumper off in a pot hole that was too deep and she dragged it off going through it, (why not drive around?) because they are everywhere and you can’t drive around without going through 10 more. Also about 2 times a month somewhere close by and always on the weekend (Saturday) someone is throwing the loudest Mexican shin dig you’ve ever heard ( imagine, like 200 drunk Mexicans at some sort of outdoor concert). So a relaxing weekend away, is not possible if you happen to choose to stay here during one of these nearby events. The only reason they get a whopping 2 stars is the location, and the sites are roomy, not bunched up like most campgrounds. Also, the other reviews are correct about the speed limit, it’s really a joke, but if you clock their speed on their little golf cart it is always @ least 8mph but don’t let them catch you doing that. You have to do more than that just to get your vehicle to climb out of the potholes. (And had I ever been approached about it I would’ve told them so) It’s stupid. Less than a SCHOOL ZONE!!!! 🙄 . But realistically you can’t go much faster anyway if you want to keep your teeth. So maybe it’s more about not getting sued for vehicle damage and dentist visits than it is safety. Note: We would’ve just went to another campground, but there were no other long term sites available for the time we needed and within reasonable distance to our job site. So we had to stick it out. Photos for proof. The water distiller is a picture after distilling only 1 gallon of their water, and a picture of what it looks like after I cleaned it. The camper damage is from the lawn service people and the broken picnic table and grown up grass and lastly my jeep in a pothole that I had to drive through daily. ( I had to wash my jeep about 3 times a week)

The stay here was amazingly accommodating. The women that run the office are helpful and very friendly. Robin went out of her way to help my family enjoy everything this place had to offer. From fishing and swimming to the amazing clean restrooms and showers. This is a destination i will be returning to. If your looking for a quiet get away near Chicago this is it. Close enough to anything u need... The stay here was amazingly accommodating. The women that run the office are helpful and very friendly. This is a destination i will be returning to. If your looking for a quiet get away near Chicago this is it. Close enough to anything u need and remote enough to feel the relaxing escape from the cities. The owner here has put great pride in making this place for families and you won't be all cramped in together either. The room per camper is huge. Save lehmans rv resort as a destination for anytime of year. Thank you Robin Tammy Karen and Jerome for helping my family enjoy this place to its fullest.

We stayed there the last three weeks and it was a quiet park . We had some issues with the first site not being level so the motorhome jacks wouldn’t work right and the slide struggled. I went up and talked to the lady in the office and at first she said nothing else was available . They have a no refund policy of cash or check and if we left we would lose all our money we had paid for two weeks... We stayed there the last three weeks and it was a quiet park . I went up and talked to the lady in the office and at first she said nothing else was available . They have a no refund policy of cash or check and if we left we would lose all our money we had paid for two weeks . After I told her they can not charge us for something they can’t provide they shuffled things around and moved us to a level concrete spot. She was really nice . The water isn’t very good. Kind of a brown color . They had dumpsters for the garbage so no issues with trash. The one thing I didn’t like was the fact that they charge $6.00 per guest per day . We were visiting family that we had not seen in years and a few wanted to come sit outside with us and see the rv life but there was no way in hell I would ever pay $6,00 per person for a few hours visit. I’ve never in all our full time travelers hear of that . If someone stayed the night then yes we expect to pay for them but not for a three hour visit. Over all it’s a very quiet park , beautiful spots. Some residents are full timers there and some of their spots need to be cleaned up . Not sure why they only take cash or check unless it’s to not have to refund money if things are not what is expected . Again the water isn’t very good so I recommend using bottled water for drinking etc

Lehman’s RV Park – 2 Stars Lehman’s RV Park has potential, but it needs serious improvements before it could be considered an actual “RV Resort.” 1. Water Quality The water here is rough—high in metals, yellow-tinted, and carries a strong odor. Definitely not something you want to drink or shower in without a heavy-duty filtration system. If you’re planning a stay, make sure you bring a quality water filter. 2. The Mini Cooper Speed Patrol There’s a woman in a small blue Mini Cooper who seems to have unofficially taken on the role of speed enforcer. I was doing about 8 mph (pretty reasonable), and halfway down the drive, she stuck her hand out the window, signaling me to stop and “keep it under 5.” The kicker? Later that night, her husband blew past my RV doing at least 10–15 mph. Classic. 3. Razor Rocket Man There’s also a guy on a black Razor scooter (looks like staff) who absolutely tears through the park. If the speed limit is really 5 mph, he’s breaking it by a factor of six. Honestly surprised he hasn’t launched into orbit yet. 4. Propane Woes Tried to get my RV’s propane tank filled around 3 PM on a Friday—no one was around. Called the office and was told no one would be available until Monday. Ended up having to disconnect and drive to the nearby Love’s. Not exactly convenient when you’re running low. 5. Laundry Facilities If you value your clothes, steer clear of the laundry room. Between the bad water and the worn-out machines, your wardrobe doesn’t stand a chance. 6. Roads are absolutely horrendous. It’s a pothole maze that makes driving an event trying to weave back and forth to miss them.

This place only take cash or checks. It is not a resort as the name implies. There is not a single trash can on the premises and for $60.00 you get water and electricity that's it. I did not see any lake there is a pond of sorts. The showers are ok but lacks any hooks or anyplace to hang anything. It appears that they had hooks but in the repair process they didn't reinstall any. One stall had 1... This place only take cash or checks. It is not a resort as the name implies. The showers are ok but lacks any hooks or anyplace to hang anything. It appears that they had hooks but in the repair process they didn't reinstall any. One stall had 1 hook and in that stall someone hung a small rack to place your soap and shampoo. The water pressure was good and hot water was good. The wifi they claim had bad signal strength and would not allow my laptop or TV to stream. It appears that most people here are permanently set up The place has potential but is not properly maintained or staffed. The management is more concerned with the 5 mph rule then anything here. I was scolded for my approximate 7 to 8 mph speed I will not be back The office has coolers but they are completely empty. The store shelves are mostly empty. Unless you need a hand made refrigerator magnet you are out of luck
