Quiet old school campground. Nothing fancy, but it's nice. I liked the wildflower field in the middle of the place. The area out by the river is very peaceful. The lady that runs the place is very friendly and helpful. The showers and restrooms were clean and well kept. I would definitely stay here again.

There are two beautiful areas that are in a cove of trees, 24-30 and 31-38. Showers are clean, pressure is great, water is hot. Firepits and picnic tables for each site.

Absolutely amazing place to stay! Kris is so sweet and very accommodating. They have full hookup spots, a lake on the property, giant room and fields for pets, safe for families, new and nice bathrooms and showers. Onsite laundry, gated, affordable, parks, so so much to offer! Such a beautiful place!

I heard the trains when I was outside, not inside my camper and was told this was a train community so I knew what I was getting into. Bath house - restroom needs some attention. Bugs were a little bad at sunset and lots were all grass. Also had an issue, with water hose. Initially worked fine, then about 3-4 days in lost all water pressure. Pulled hose from camper and inlet screen was completed covered with brown foreign substance. Removed and went to purchase filter from Walmart. By the time I returned, screen was about 75% covered again. After installing filter, never had problem again. Was there for about 1 month. When I left, I checked the inlet screen on filter and camper and had no substance - perhaps was in the water hose itself.

We were very happy with our stay. Great amenities, clean remodeled bathrooms/showers, small playground with swings. The private beach along the river was our favorite part. The owners couldn’t have been more lovely and kind.

This campground is a great place to stay! Pull through sites with full hookups. 50/30 amp power. Our site was level, and all sites looked level from what I could see. Small lake that you can walk around, has a nice large dock with chairs. The place is clean and tidy. The owners are fantastic, as is the help. We will definitely be back.

Perfect stop during our trip across the U.S.! The host was friendly, came out to welcome us the moment we arrived. The campground is spotless and well cared for, with beautiful views of the lake and a peaceful atmosphere. Everything felt clean, safe, and relaxing. We would have loved to stay a few more days if time allowed. We’ll definitely be back!

We were having trouble finding a place to stay with our motorhome for the night and finally found this amazing campground in Champaign, Illinois. The people are the friendliest and most caring people I've ever met, and they do everything they can to make your stay comfortable. The campground is obviously well maintained, and the sites are far enough apart that you don't feel like you are crowded.... They have a small lake for fishing or you can just wander around the lake on the half-mile walking path, with plenty of shade trees. Definitely very welcoming. I wish there were more parks like this one across the country, and I would definitely stay here again.

We are a French family on a road trip across the USA. Our route took us to this campsite for one night and how lucky we were. We were welcomed as if we were long-time friends. The managers are great... they don't hesitate to give advice, to put everything in place for the well-being of the campers. Our children will have very good memories of these people. Matthew and Sarah are two of the nicest people you will ever meet! The park is small, but far enough away from I-57to be quite. The bathrooms/showers very, very clean. We have stayed here 3 times and will be back!
