My wife and I stayed their in 2017. They had just changed owners at the time. The folks there were very nice an accommodating. My sister was sick with cancer and they where so close to where she lived and we had stayed a whole month and I have to say we had a great experience there. We are coming back this fall and plan on staying there again.

We stayed here in a 5th wheel, our site had a fire pit, a dog pen and flower box. The park was decorated for Halloween. The park is clean and has a great playground with plenty of things for kids to do. They also have a mini golf course as well. Bathrooms and showers were clean and maintained. We would definitely stay here again.

Went during October. Lots of activities for the kids. Camp site decoration competitions each weekend (for Halloween). Trick or treating, hay rides, etc. Fire wood delivery to the site. Bathrooms are clean. Cabin was nice. Had heat and AC if needed, a mini fridge and electricity.

This KOA has an amazing staff! Friendly, helpful, and they have really fun weekend events! We happened to be staying during a Halloween weekend and sites were decorated, they had a costume trick or treat time, haunted hayrides, and more!! This is my 4th (?) time staying here and it's always nice 😁

We recently stayed for one night. The staff are friendly. The location while remote from many things to do around the Chicago area except for the train museum is quiet. Unfortunately as others have commented the water is brownish and smells of rust. It’s likely iron from rusting pipes that while not necessarily a health risk is not something that’s palatable to most. Definitely didn’t drink it. W... We fortunately travel with jugs of water just in case we find issues with water at campgrounds. Because of the water we won’t stay again nor recommend it to others.
