Extremely tight spaces. We were in a 40' Class A with tow vehicle. Within 5 feet of neighboring site. Picnic table immediately next to sewer connections for neighbor. Park was recently sold and looks as though it could use some upkeep and freshening.

For an RV park, this would generally not be considered “nearby.” Most travelers looking for a nearby RV park expect it to be within 10–20 miles, often closer to highways or attractions they plan to visit. A 20-60 mile distance is better described as “within driving distance” or “a short trip away,” not nearby.

Fairly clean and quiet, but they say they have wifi, but they do not. We had to use our phone as a hot spot, which used up a lot of our data. When we tried to call, to figure out why there was no wifi, we couldn't get anyone to answer the phone.

I.have good & bad to say. We traveled over 3.5 hours for our weekend stay. We booked the cabin as I wasn't sure how my pup would do camping . The cabin itself was fine- although I would call it more of a shed than cabin. Some of the amenties I found where technically correct ( it sleeps 4: didn't say it was 2 double beds) make sure to bring linens as they say they are provided but they aren't. Bring extra mat or something to.lay on as the bed is hard. It did have ac- which worked great & a mini fridge. Fridge had really weird smell to it, but it worked great. Initially was told it had a washroom, running water, and free wifi. Cabin had none of that. Granted washroom was just across street. Of the 2 one was clean. Main washroom & shower area was amazing & very clean. Website said General store was available for items, foid, ice, wood etc. The general store was closed, so we had travel for necessities like wood & ice ( not great w large dog). Website boasted community activities like cornhole/bags. Community fire pit ,paddle boats, swimming pool and dog park. I saw one board by the abandoned General Store. Never found the fire pit. The dog park was ok-alot of dog poop not picked up, overflowing garbage w waste bags. We did find the paddle boat but it appeared it had been just left to rot in the water. The pool was clean just very cold. We met the host when we arrived for key, and didnt see him again fir a couple days. No big deal as we didn't need him for anything, just seemed weird a host isn't around. Now for the good- they were very accommodating when we requested early check in & late checkout. Now let me tell you about the campers there! Omg they were AMAZING 🙃 After 1st trip to get ice while unloading car, we have a young man stop his golf cart and offered us wood! Obviously we jumped at that, when asked for price- he replied- free Like who does that? Every other camper we met were all equally as friendly and kind. Something I had mentioned to my sister shortly after our arrival. Overall it seems like it had been a great place in past to go. If you want solace & no frills- it's ok. Never caught my fish 😉

Kind of a weird place. The sites are clean and the hookups worked fine. I was greeted by a dude with no shirt on. No map of the campground to help me find my spot and no instruction sheet like I get in most commercial campgrounds. It was quiet at night and that's the most important thing to me. No trains going by, no interstate noise and no barking dogs.
