This was a beautiful place. However…..there was confusion on reserving a spot. It was our mistake but not clear on the site or online. Also, nobody ever available at the host trailer. We wrote a check and put into the drop box Then we reserved the spot we wanted. When we got to our spot, someone was in it. The host actually took our “reserved” sticker off but didn’t bother to call us and ex... This was a beautiful place. However…..there was confusion on reserving a spot. It was our mistake but not clear on the site or online. Also, nobody ever available at the host trailer. We wrote a check and put into the drop box Then we reserved the spot we wanted. When we got to our spot, someone was in it. The host actually took our “reserved” sticker off but didn’t bother to call us and explain. They had our check, though, Also, it took me 3 days to pick up the cigarette butts and trash and get the spot to our liking. Another big problem is no water.. This could be an awesome place with a little TLC and proper management,

I only drove through this park, so I can’t comment on the trails. It is a very scenic drive. If you are in the area, don’t miss stopping here.

We love to go to see sunset and sunrises it just so beautiful.. very calm setting. U can camp in tent or r.v. you can fish or shower there there's playgrounds for children. Boat ramps to take ur boats out. And very pretty wildlife sounds very soothing when u have been in the city for awhile this is definitely the place to go to and unwind .. there's a few walking trails.

Beautiful to see right after the snow mostly melted. Great view, with the lake still partially frozen and the bare trees affording a better glimpse.

The campground was amazing with all around views of lake. Definitely a few spots that are a must grab due to locale to lake and views of sunrise and seats. A nice playground and maintained vault toilets. There are several tent only areas around lake and numerous picnic areas with BBQ pits at each as well. There is a shower house open 7a-10p and a boat ramp as well as numerous docks around lake too... The campground was amazing with all around views of lake. Definitely a few spots that are a must grab due to locale to lake and views of sunrise and seats. A nice playground and maintained vault toilets. There are several tent only areas around lake and numerous picnic areas with BBQ pits at each as well. There is a shower house open 7a-10p and a boat ramp as well as numerous docks around lake too The paved loop around lake(roadway) is secluded and scenic amongst the woods.
