Pearl Lake RV Resort

Our experience at Pearl Lake RV Park was far from what we expected, especially given the high price tag. When we arrived, our campsite had garbage on it, and instead of a scenic view, we were facing the maintenance building. The so-called “resort fee” is outrageous considering the lack of activities offered. While the lake water was fairly clear, the beach sand was dirty and low quality—not what... Our experience at Pearl Lake RV Park was far from what we expected, especially given the high price tag. When we arrived, our campsite had garbage on it, and instead of a scenic view, we were facing the maintenance building. The so-called “resort fee” is outrageous considering the lack of activities offered. While the lake water was fairly clear, the beach sand was dirty and low quality—not what you’d expect at a place calling itself a resort. The nicest part of the campground was the new basketball and pickleball courts, but that alone doesn’t justify the cost. There’s absolutely no security, and all staff were gone by 5 p.m. The lack of oversight was clear—our neighbor decided to fix his car right next to our fire pit after quiet hours, which was noisy and inconsiderate. Overall, this campground is overpriced and poorly maintained. We won’t be back. It felt more like a dump than a getaway.

For a day trip, it’s great. Water is clean, even when it’s packed there is still plenty of space to stake your claim. Food trucks are convenient. Didn’t try the bar or restaurant. This is the best kept secret ever. We didn’t discover it until the end of the summer and managed to go twice. It will be our go-to next summer.
