Update: Visited back on 2/9/24. Site 10. Good spot in case in rains (which it did...like, a lot) as this is the high ground. Was also able to get occasional 5G UW service here so that was nice. Lots of crows talking it up in the a.m. as well as the occasional tug boat horn from the boat traffic on the Ohio River. Good spot. Near one of the trail heads so be aware there can be a bit more foot traffic. Great spot to get away from it all. Been here when it's been full and when there's only been one or two other campers. Everyone respects the quiet time. Awesome natural background noise...crows, coyotes, dogs in the distance from nearby farms. You feel isolated and out there. Vault toilets are well maintained. Conveniet dumpster for trash on the way out. Much to see and do in the area.
