Very easy to find and easy to get started. We had brought our own tubes and rented one as well. 6-7 hrs for tubing so get there before noon so you can be done by closing. Last quarter mile stretch is the most dangerous, but there are signs so pay attention (just walk it and you'll be fine). Many stopping points to eat lunch on river, places to jump off into river, kids have fun swimming along side... Very easy to find and easy to get started. Doubles as cottonwood campground. I've spent every summer there ever since I was 6. I love that place. Sadly, moved to Tennessee. But my sister still camps there. Lively place. Some of my best child hood memories were made there. The river is lovely. We never rented canoes because we had our own river tubes. It's a lovely experience whether you canoe, kayak, or tube.
