We absolutely love spending time and adventures together here. They have reasonably priced cabins, and clean bathrooms. There's always someone on-site.

Great park with friendly staff, trails, beach, campground and endless wildlife. I travel 1 1/2 hours several times a year to enjoy this beautiful landscape. Well worth the road trip.

Decent park, but best experienced from a boat. The trails were overgrown in places. The fire ring at my campsite was damaged and the ground around it was uneven. There was also a lot of litter throughout the park. I'm not in a hurry to come back.

We went there camping and booked a non-electric tent campsite in the "Modern" section. We were right across from the "Vault Toilets" which to be honest are pretty horrific, especially if you use the female bathrooms. Tons of flies and spiders and no privacy. We walked to the flushing toilets down the block. There are amenities onsite for firewood, ice etc and "Woody's" one and two are close by if you need anything. Peru is about a 20 minute drive away for Kroger etc. This is a very busy recreational area with lots of camp sites, RVs, campers and tents. The lake is noisy and busy but I didn't mind the engine noise. A sea plane taking off was the highlight for me. A fire ring and a picnic table is available at every site, and some of them have electric.

There's several boat launches around the Missisinawa Reservoir, and if you ever get over there, you might want to check out the Missisinawa Battlefield of 1812. They have a historic Indian school and a few graveyards with historic markers. It's amazing how many people visit this wonderful place ❤️.
