Nice sites. Quiet campground. There was a food truck there that night, Dolled Up Spuds. It was delicious.

My in-laws have a camper here and my husband love taking our kiddos there to get some family time. The place is safe for my kids to run free. They have one rule, don't go near the water without a life jacket. When the corn is up, it is completely hidden and where our camper is located the trees keep it cool. They have the best events for adults and kids that are so fun. Everyone is neighborly. Nob... My in-laws have a camper here and my husband love taking our kiddos there to get some family time. I took my kids camping in a tent here over the weekend. I was a bit taken aback by the permanent nature of a lot of the trailers around the area. Something about watching the folks across the road mow their lawn made me feel like I was intruding on someone else’s space rather than out camping, which was the biggest deterrent for me. I was a bit taken aback by the permanent nature of a lot of the trailers around the area. Something about watching the folks across the road mow their lawn made me feel like I was intruding on someone else’s space rather than out camping, which was the biggest deterrent for me. The primitive sites are as far from the bathhouse as you can get, and the nearby porta potty was absolutely awful. On the bright side there were plenty of playgrounds and common areas to keep the kids entertained. Looks like they were all getting ready for a pretty fun Halloween celebration. Management was helpful, friendly, and easy to work with.
