If you are experienced enough to back down the peninsula, being surrounded by water on 3 sides make for some amazing views. We have been seriously considering a full time space.

The only reason I'm giving it higher stars is for the manager Linda. She is amazing. We stayed here one night and she gave us firewood and a burn pit as well as showed us her favorite spot. There are kids playgrounds, a boat w/ trolling motor to rent for cruising the lake, and water/electric hook ups (no sewer but there is a dump site) Downsides: 1. You can only book from the website, no calling in. 2. The entire time we were here trains were going back and forth over the tracks blowi g thier horns. The tracks are on the other side of the highway which is just across from the pond. (Great as there is no travel time from the highway, bad if you want a quiet time.) 3. At 7:30 we had a knock on the door to tell us that power was going out for tge rest of the morning. 4. My wife also noted strong smells of sewage in the morning as well.

Just opened up again, has a brand new super cool playground for the kids. Big spots, big lake FULL of fish. This place was great. The hosts/owners are amazing. They greeted us at our site, they chatted with us and even offered to help us pack up when we were leaving. Highly recommended to anyone looking for an easy and friendly place to park/camp
