Well maintained primitive campground in beautiful setting along the Turkey River. Especially noteworthy is prohibition of generators for peace and solitude. I wish national and state campgrounds would do the same.

Clayton County Conservation does such a great job keeping its parks clean and maintained. This little hidden gem has canoe access to the Turkey River. There are several fire pits and picnic tables. There are several fire pits and picnic tables. This park is perfect for an overnight while canoeing down the river, a day of fishing or just a great place to sit back and enjoy nature as the river rolls by. There is a mother goose that has a nest half way down the park near the rivers edge right now please give her room. There is also a roped off area for your safety please don't cross. Take care.

Cute little campground very basic has a canoe and kyack launch was flooded and muddy when we were there. We had lots of fun. Found some fossils on the kyack trip.
