Terrific old fashioned Campground. Not asphalt and cheek to jowl like many new campgrounds. Waterfront campground with absolutely gorgeous views of the quarter mile wide river. Waterfront campground with absolutely gorgeous views of the quarter mile wide river. Just a mile and a half off I-80. Very reasonably priced. About 60 sites so a nice size without being too big. Water and electric at the sites and a dump station for black tanks. I've been everywhere from Fort Wilderness to Blue Water key and while not as fancy as those, the views of the river and access to it from all the sites is best I've ever seen. Short drive in from main road, go slow and don't miss the campground signs that lead you in. Google Maps took me down the wrong road after I got off the main road. I've got a 45 foot diesel class A and maneuvering was fine. When you call the campground, you'll probably get Dean the owner. He's very helpful and it's always nice dealing with the owner of a business.

I normally 5 star everything, I would have, but the price was double what I’ve ever paid for just parking and sleeping in my truck. There is no fee difference between tents and RVs. 😬$35 if you can stay in your vehicle just stay at Kum and go. It’s a private campground so that is nice, I didn’t use ANY services and it’s still $35 so that is the only down side for me.

The campground itself is very nice, well maintained, and sits right on the Cedar River with some awesome views. There is no trouble here and it’s very quiet at night. The bathrooms are older but they are clean. The seasonal campers there treated me like family and made me feel welcome with no issues whatsoever. This is without a doubt the best campground I have stayed at and I will be returning again.

I came to visit my boyfriend for a few days and I couldn’t be more impressed with the place. It is located directly along the Cedar River which provides beautiful sunsets, fishing, and other activities. The campground is well maintained and easily accessible. The owner, Dean, is a kind, honest, and accommodating person. I highly recommend this campground for your friends and family.
