Understand that this is true survival camping. Don't expect amenities--you won't even have cell service. That being said... It's one of the most beautiful spots I've ever visited. The trees are hundreds of years old, the bluff is incredible from a geology standpoint, and the river is cold and clean. I would live there if I could. If you visit, please respect nature! Don't bring dirt bikes and ATVs... Understand that this is true survival camping. Don't expect amenities--you won't even have cell service. That being said... Awesome campsite. Its first come first served but there is tons of space. Enter through the gate and be sure to close it. Jerome will swing by, usually in the evenings to touch base, collect money and sell fire wood. Awesome fishing at the campsite and within just a short drive there are many more miles of good streams. Shad is limited so plan accordingly. Rock fire pit rings. Flat ground for ten... Awesome campsite. Its first come first served but there is tons of space. Would recommend to any travelers passing through. This is not like a typical campground; its a chunk of private land that has been set aside for campers to use (so dont expect electricity, etc). We had 2 hammock campers and trees were few and far between, but we made it work with paracord extentions. Dog friendly. Peaceful river flows right along the property. Super cool spot for 10$ per tent. Mus... Would recommend to any travelers passing through. Picnic tables, fire pits, and 2 pit toilets.

Stayed overnight while on a fully loaded bicycle tour. Beautiful rustic area w/trout stream running along side of campsites! Very scenic & secluded! That doesn't happen much anymore. Jerome supplied us w/firewood so we did not have to carry. There is no water at the campsite so you will need to make arrangements w/Jerome to get water from his house. Just as an FYI: the outhouse buildings are in need of some septic assist because the odor seems to be stronger than any outhouse that I have ever used.
