Campground offers convenient, no-frills tent camping near town Located just 15 minutes from grocery stores and restaurants, this campground caters primarily to RVs—many of which appear to be occupied by long-term residents. Tent campers are directed to a separate grassy area shaded by mature trees, with each site offering a fire pit and a smaller grill-equipped pit for cooking. There is a single restroom and shower facility located centrally in the RV section. There were some issues with the restrooms and showers though. The pool was also closed over Memorial Day weekend. However, families will appreciate the open fields and a playground where kids can burn off energy. Some light traffic noise from the nearby main road can be heard at night. This isn’t the place for those seeking a remote, nature-immersed getaway—but it is perfect for a quick, local camping experience. An unexpected highlight was the adjacent goat farm, home to four friendly goats that welcomed visits and gentle pets from children. Many of the residents were friendly and helpful, but most kept to themselves. There was one resident who was super friendly. He told us about some of the things we could do in the area. I enjoyed this campground for the easy camp experience. We had a great time as a family.

Listen. I had no idea what I was getting myself in to when I called to see if they had a spot for my tent. All of the other areas were full and I just wanted to pop a tent and maybe have a fire for a couple nights. The owner made me feel like I called the right place from the start. Personable and humorous. Reasonable rates for tent camping (mostly full for RV sites since a lot of people live year round or have their campers there.) Small community of people and everyone I've met it so far is real & down to earth. Sad I don't have a golf cart because there's totally a trail to ride it on lol country setting, tent spaces overlook a good view of the land and growing crops, right under some big ol trees. Picnic table and fire pit. You can purchase wood from the owner and she brings it right to you. If you're looking for a no fuss camp spot, come here. I'll definitely come back when i just wanna pop a tent again

This is a wonderful place to camp right off of I-70. You'd never guess it's so close to the highway. It's tucked away, surrounded by beautiful IN cornfields and forests. It has everything you need and the owner is very friendly. The other campers were also friendly as well. Would recommend, will be back!
