We've stayed here a couple of times now. It's quiet & the sites are fairy spaced. It is first come, first serve only. You get electricity & water hookups. There is a dump station on site. It looks like they're putting in cement pads along the outside. There is not a lot of tree coverage, just a few here & there.

This is our 1st time camping here. We arrived early Wednesday and on Thursday the sites are quickly filling. We were surprised that that a few of the sites have new cement pads. It's great to have water & electricity for $25. The campground is maintained very well! The restrooms and shower houses are clean, but they really need to be updated. The restrooms and shower houses are clean, but they really need to be updated. They need better lighting, mirrors (none on either side), more hooks, and more shower stalls (only 2). There wasn't much hot water (couldn't add cold). There is an almost complete paved rec trail from the campground that goes into Cresco. It's great bicycling from Cresco to Calmar on the Prairie Farmer Trail. There is campground internet, but not a very strong signal. I'm thankful for it, though! We can get many TV channels with our antenna, too. We'd come back!

Well kept grounds. Clean restrooms. Great fishing nearby and trail system for walking or biking. Reasonable at $25/night. Easily accessible dump station. Free for registered campers, $10 to dump if not camping. We go there frequently.

Great campground with clean restrooms, but planes leaving the airport at 0630 at treetop level can be annoying.
