Beautiful, clean and very well maintained USACE property. Unfortunately, it's closed for the season. A combination of electric only and or electric and water site options. Some sites are paved, others are gravel. All sites appear good sized and fairly level. I had 3 bars of Verizon 4G LTE Roaming, no wifi and no OTA television channels from the front gate.

Not busy July 9, 2025. Well cared for grounds, quiet, clean bathrooms. Most site have electricity but only a few have water-it is still close by. Lake water is VERY dirty, beach very mucky. Watch for raccoons after dark and secure your food inside.

Great place to rest, but T mobile has no service there at all... there are no trash cans around the entire place (only 1 way up near the entrance), there is no WiFi, no water or power hookups, etc. but it’s only $20 so it works for the right setting. Otherwise it is quite beautiful and right on the lake (make sure to ask for a lake view if you can).

Beautiful campground next to a man made lake. Lots of trees which are both good and bad as there were some sites you're not going to be able to maneuver into. Luckily, there was another site that available we were assigned. I've had this issue before with recreation.gov - the specifics of the site (length) aren't correct. Glad we had an alternative. One star subtracted due to there being just one dump site - can accommodate two rigs at the same time - for so many campsites.
