This is a gem of a park, so much so that I'm tempted to rank it low so you don't want to go there. It has rolling hills, a nice lake (except in 2025 they drained it to do some work on it), a bow range, picnic areas, a campground, a disc golf course through the woods, wildflower meadows, hunting areas, AND buffalo and elk to see. Have lived this park since early 70s.. redid lake and now it's even better with canoe/ kayak launch and other improvements.

Hickory hills park is a quiet campground. There's a nice lake with a beautiful open tree line. There's buffalo and long horn steer nearby to look at as well.
