The term Modern is a bit deceiving. This campground seems older. The campground is not remote nor modern. Is it considered modern because of a flushable shower house ? Some sites are full hook up .I Did not see any concrete pads. Sites are pretty level. The roads are asphalt and single roads with a very tight turn around at each end. There is One bathroom/ shower facility centrally located in the middle. Stayed here mid week for a couple of nights, other campers were quiet. Park rangers did drive around and clean fire pits, mow the grass. There is no camp store on site. Town is about five miles away.

Loved it but full service site are varied sizes and not many of them. But beautiful campground. Be sure you can fit your camper. Other camp areas are not very full but nice.

I remember going here as a kid.and being able to come back after so long and seeing a place that has not changed much is very nice. They have improved in a great way as to having full hook up spots and showers making sure they stay dry for every use is awesome. It's also nice that they have spots that is on a first come basis is very nice. Very nice campground

Great campground with clean restrooms and lots of trails and things to do with kids. Some of the sites (full hookups) are very close together but others have a bit more space in between. No firewood for sale in the campground so be sure to pick some up (within rega) on the way in. We kayaked and sailed and swam at the beach as well as enduring some complaints from the kids about death matches.

Love this place. Watch out for the raccoons! Put your trash away at night time!
