Didn't have reservations but was able to get a site with no problem. Never did get to see owners. And instructions on pay envelope were very confusing. Was told $38 a night for full hookup on phone envelope said $40 and $5.00 extra for hookup fee. And also they charge $5.00 for showers. Did laundry and only 1 dryer worked. All and all quiet park.

This RV Park needs NEW management we called over a month ago and made a reservation for a one night pull through, they said, no problem just come in. We have been coming to this park for years , we stop there twice a year on our way to MN, last year we had a problem the only site open had no power this year there were no pull through spots available and like the year before no one at the office... We have been coming to this park for years , we stop there twice a year on our way to MN, last year we had a problem the only site open had no power this year there were no pull through spots available and like the year before no one at the office to help, no sites were saved. . It’s a nice little park but you need an onsite person and if someone makes a reservation you need to hold a site. Unhappy campers.

We picked Kinsley as it was 33 miles from Dodge City where we had planned to park for the night anyway. I called the park 2 days before arrival, and again 1 day out and on the day of arrival and only got voice mail, never getting a return call. We are new to this cross country travel thing, so self check in was new to us and arriving at 9:00 at night (dark) we wanted to make sure we had a spot... So this review is mainly to assure others who have similar concerns, follow the directions in the voice mail message and pick an open spot, hook up, and then go to the little office building and pick up your self registration form and drop it in the return box with cash or a check and relax. We never saw a soul from ownership or management during our stay so I hope we did everything correctly. With that out of the way, It is obvious that the management team cares about the condition of the park and the facilities therein. Found the mens bathroom / shower extremely clean, as well as the laundromat in the same building. Signage was everywhere telling people to clean up after themselves out of respect for others, not to overload washing machines that cause damage, thing that should be obvious and common sense to most people, but some people lack those skills. Womens restroom was closed while we were there because of vandalism, so I "stood guard" while my wife used the mens bathroom. We only used 30A electric for the night to keep battery charged and to keep warm. Only reason for 1 star on service is because we didn't have any. A return phone call would have been helpful. We camped at 4 Aces RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Cute little place. Road can be rough to get there. Electric and water hookup only. And you share water with your neighbors. Not much for kids to do. Looks like people also live here year round. Also the trash isn't easily assessable for people traveling. Also for sewage dumping we had to use our own hoses cause theirs were garbage.

I stayed here for two nights camping with a tent because there was a thunderstorm. I was a astonished by how clean the showers and laundry room were. Most of the people staying in campers were clearly there as contract workers for businesses in the area. During the day, it’s incredibly quiet because most people are working, but in the evening, it was nice to walk around and just chat.

We visited for 3 nights mid-week and most of the units appeared unoccupied. I assume they are seasonals/permanents and used more on the weekends. In one area they looked like people working in the area in the short term, which is common. The bathhouse is dated and institutional but has been upgraded with tile floors and is functional and reasonably clean but stained with age. There is a pond by the lower level that I think you can swim in but otherwise no playground or other kid oriented equipment that I noticed. Sites are all water/electric with a dump site and free use of a “honey bucket” cart to empty your tanks. The downside to this location is you must drive about 2 miles on good gravel roads that are very dusty. Your vehicle will be very dirty. The Wifi worked pretty well. Propane refills are available.

Nice little pavilion at the campground with a swing chairs, smoker, grill, fire pit, wood! Just a lovely little place. Only 35 miles to Dodge City!

We stumbled on this place looking for somewhere to stay during state high school track meet. Somehow, there were vacancies over Memorial Day weekend! There seems to be a lot of seasonal or long term tenants, and everyone was very friendly. We loved the paths to & around the small reservoir. We didn’t need them, but the honey wagons on site are a huge convenience. If you stay in one of the south side (SS#) sites, be aware that many of the water spigots are across the road & were too far for our hose. This won’t be a problem if you fill your tanks before you settle in…. Like I should have… The WiFi doesn’t reach the SS sites, but the cell service was good enough to stream music, a ballgame, or a late night movie. This place is really great & has a lot of charm. We will definitely be back when we come to Wichita again.

I'm going to edit my review of this place because of the honesty of the owners reply. I'm going to edit my review of this place because of the honesty of the owners reply. I never expected that, 99.9% ok of places wouldn't have been so honest. 😁 I also called and she was very pleasant on the phone and said my daughters card had not been charged. We were both very grateful for that as well. When the rainy season is over, I'm sure it is a much nicer place in the quiet country. If traveling though at a dryer season and when the hayfields are mowed, it's probably beautiful. It looked nothing like the pictures at this time. I made a reservation based on the reviews. I drove out a 1 lane dirt road past a swampy area. It looked as though there had been a hard rainy season, which the owner replied there had been. I arrived close to dusk and the campground was not marked great, in fact if there were no campers there, it didn't look like a campground at all. Maybe someday, but the center was an uncut Hayfield. I spoke with a man who seemed to be a long time camper, who was very nice and explained that my place must have been on the other side, which it was. The crickets were so loud, that I could hardly hear him speak. I drove around another dirt road and finally found the campsite. The water was across the road and there was one water spigot for several sites. I had an extremely hard time backing into the site. Too many trees and a tire circle to mark a fire ring that was in the way. The grass was mowed around the site , but nowhere else. I could see an electrical hook up. I decided to leave quickly before it got really dark. There were no lights anywhere and the mosquitoes were so thick that they just about covered my windshield and I knew I would be eaten alive just opening my door. It looked like it would be a great place to live and farm, but definitely not a campsite. Please speak with someone 1st before making an online reservation, which my daughter did online for me.
