Relatively quiet campground, has a boat ramp. The sites sit above the water and the shores are rocky on this side. Good for boating, not so much for swimming. They have a fun Ranger program for kids, and the campsites have covers, water and electric. Some sites are closer together than others. The entire area is well cared for. The lake is way up, so when they say waterfront 🤯 Nice level pull through site, electric (20, 30, 50 amp), and water. Individual bathroom with shower, (pretty buggy, but you gotta expect that at a lake) It was not crowded at all. And is very spread out.

One of my favorite places to camp and kayak in KS. Bathrooms, trash receptacles, and plenty of dog walking areas. We took a trip into Council Grove to go antiquing and plant shopping, and saw the Northern Lights making it a memorable Mothers Day weekend.

Great little campground. Most of the spots are on the lake. Grounds are very well kept, restrooms and showers are clean. I’d definitely recommend staying here.
