Comfortable park. Three loops, A,B,C. B is being renovated to open in Summer 2022. We stayed in site A-7 and A-20. Some sites are not very level. Nice playgrounds and toilets. Quiet and scenic. Occasionally you get a helicopter flying overhead from Fort Riley. Great fishing too!

We stayed in Loop A, spot 9, with very few other campers in August 2023. Very nice and clean park. Didn’t notice any bugs at all. Very peaceful. Women’s restroom inside could use some repairs but was very clean.

Our original site was so unlevel we could not get our trailer level. It was 001 in loop A. (The host told us that a previous flood had cause the slopping problem) We were allowed to move to a better site 005 loop A. We saw an incredible sunset. The bathrooms were okay at best. This area is close to the Eisenhower Presidential Museum, worth a visit.

We stayed in the D loop, out on the peninsula. We chose that spot because it would be remote so the dogs wouldn’t be constantly distracted by other people. Multiple fishermen came and parked at our occupied campsite and walked through it, despite there being several other empty campsites a little father down. We asked them to fish somewhere else, again because of the dogs- they refused. Never had... We stayed in the D loop, out on the peninsula. Never had anything like this happen camping before, I don’t think anyone would enjoy strange people walking around their tents at odd hours. Will not be coming here again
