Red Oak Campground

The launch is not steep so had to back further in then normal. Got in trouble for having a stand up ski at my site and they wanted $30/night to dock it. Won't stay there again but it was a decent campground. Most campers are permanent and they have rooms/hotel buildings they rent. Got busy over the weekend and the people weren't very friendly. Couldn't ask for more perfect stay in the motel building down by the water, located literally 20 steps from the boat ramp. We got a slip for my little fishing boat on Dock C, next to the perfect little breakfast spot - Stewart's on the Water. Then for dinner and music, Bulldog's Beach house is right next door, just a short walk along the trail. The room where we stayed appeared to be brand new, ev... They might as well take the 10 mph signs down, or think about changing them to 30 because people absolutely fly down the gravel roads.
