Awesome Host & Perfect Stop for Hikers! Marvin was an absolutely awesome host during our stay! We were hiking through, and this was truly a perfect place to stop along the way. We really appreciated the hospitality and are looking forward to the restrooms and showers coming soon! Highly recommend!

We booked a weekend stay for my son and I Birthday weekend. We enjoyed that it was just a hop and a jump from our house. We stayed at a full hook up sight at the front of the campground where we personally enjoyed. Some great perks of the location of the campground is just across the bridge they are a splash pad and play ground for the kids. A short walk up the road you have our Mexican restaurant... We stayed at a full hook up sight at the front of the campground where we personally enjoyed. Some great perks of the location of the campground is just across the bridge they are a splash pad and play ground for the kids. A short walk up the road you have our Mexican restaurant as well as a short drive you have save a lot and dollar store and the chicken hut and Dairy Queen if you want to make a food run. The owners are wonderful people with so much hospitality and kindness. They was always smiling and happy to help if they was needed. They sell firewood on site and working to grow the campground by adding a general store, primitive camping and cabins in the future to accommodate more campers. If you're looking for a nice getaway we recommend giving McKee Campground your business. And support a small business trying to make a difference for our county. We look forward to booking again soon.

$10 for primitive tent camping. Nice spot near McKee downtown - quick walk to the gas station. No restroom but it’s in the process of being built. Each site has its own picnic table. RV/Campers have electric and water. There’s a children’s playground 100ft away. Very friendly owner!

Great experience here on bike tour! Inexpensive, accommodating, and close to resources in town. The owner and his family were getting ready for a busy Labor Day weekend, but still made sure i had access to everything I needed when I called for a day-of reservation.

We were in town for the Boone Forest Rally and we parked the motorhome here for a couple nights. The only thing I didn't like about our stay is that we had to leave so soon! The site was level and plenty big for my 36' coach with a slide on each side. Power, water, and sewer were all perfect and ice for the cooler was available in the office at a very reasonable cost. We didn't have a chance (... We were in town for the Boone Forest Rally and we parked the motorhome here for a couple nights. We didn't have a chance (or need) to try the wifi other than to see that signal was very strong at our site. Our phones are T-Mobile and we had plenty of service/signal at the campground. Marvin is very welcoming and has built a fantastic place to stay. I can't wait to come back!
