I've camped here since the 1990s and have always enjoyed it. There's no electricity and one outside water pump near restrooms. The bathrooms are enclosed porta pottys. Tent areas are well kept, picnic tables, grill and fire rings. It used to be a big party place for locals, but I don't think it's considered that anymore. No designated swimming area but with water shoes, it's a nice place to swim.

It's lovely there. Peaceful. There are places on the beach that has big rocks so be careful walking. We'll be back with picnic basket. 😎

Surprised there weren't more people down here, pretty much had the place to ourselves. The water was perfect, the beach areas and bathrooms were clean and stocked. AWESOME place if you're in the area to boat, swim, or just sit at the lake.

What a great place to enjoy for a few days. Located on Dale Hollow Lake, this place has camping, fishing, and all kinds of boating activities. One of my new favorite recreation areas to spend some time at. Highly recommended. Edit : Visited there today. Water levels are higher than normal, normally there is a "beach" but because of all the recent weather, things are still a little soggy. Good... What a great place to enjoy for a few days. Good news is, plenty of campsites available!

I seen one single review about the drive in being dangerous, and ignored it because it was only one. That was dumb. It was pretty scary getting in, and then I was pretty panicked to leave and get back out. Definitely don't have 4 wheel drive or a V6/8. There should be a sign before you enter that those things would be a good idea to get in and back out. However.. the camp sites were right on the l... There should be a sign before you enter that those things would be a good idea to get in and back out. However.. the camp sites were right on the lake and it was incredibly beautiful. Great rustic camping, pretty sure there was no electric and restrooms were bare minimum. Lots of parking. Seemed very safe to be there and stay.
