This year we parked a trailer here for the entire season and we could not have been happier. We met amazing people, made good friends with the owners (who bailed me out of a few jams), and enjoyed home-cooked meals without the crowds! We are a short drive from the Motherlode here and no more than 25 min to any of the restaurants. We truly enjoyed the scenery, the trails, the lake, the people, and more. We feel like family here, and when you return year after year, you're treated like such!

The description of the cabin was spot on. It was quaint and cozy. The view was so peaceful. The owners were so friendly, helpful and very very understanding. I loved it. Can only imagine how beautiful it would be during the spring or fall. Can’t wait to go back.

Extremely Disappointing Experience at Lago Linda Hideaway I don’t usually write reviews, but my stay at Lago Linda Hideaway was so unpleasant that I feel compelled to share. First and foremost, the entire campground was overwhelmed by the stench of sewage. It was especially noticeable near the café—honestly, I couldn’t understand how anyone would want to eat there with that smell hanging in the air. The cabin we stayed in was not clean. The pillow shams and comforters smelled like body odor, and there was a thick layer of dust under the furniture, as if it hadn’t been cleaned in weeks. It felt neglected and unhygienic. The road leading down to the cabins was another issue—it felt unsafe, poorly maintained, and difficult to navigate, especially if you're not in a high-clearance vehicle. When I tried to address these concerns, I spoke with a woman who either was the owner or claimed to be. Unfortunately, she was incredibly rude. Her tone was condescending, and she showed no interest in listening or resolving the issues. There was no apology, no accountability—just dismissiveness. Overall, this was one of the most disappointing campground experiences I’ve had. Between the smell, the lack of cleanliness, the unsafe access, and the poor customer service, I cannot recommend Lago Linda Hideaway. The response by the owner is false.

Was looking for a place to stay the same weekend as Rocktober so all campsites close to the Gorge were super full. Lago Linda had plenty of space and accommodated uour group of 6 tent campers easily. Their grounds are well kept with plenty of fire pits and picnic tables to go around. Appreciated the clean facilities as well, since we were primitive camping.

Elaine and Larry are great hosts! Lago Linda is such a beautiful camp spot. Plenty of nice fish to catch too. We fished for bass. This place is peaceful, quiet, and all your worries fade away here. I highly suggest it! We can't wait to go back this fall!
