Beautiful place to stay in Kentucky, so many things to do and see within 15-30 minutes of the cabins, which are also in the woods, surrounded by nature. Nice walking trails, and the manager is extremely nice, and helpful. Me and my ol lady stayed there for a few months while I worked in town and will be coming back to stay for a little vacation at some point soon. 100% recommend this area... We had a primitive camp site for the weekend. The grounds were well kept and clean. Bathrooms and showers were clean. It never had a bad smell all weekend! The employees that worked there helped us with whatever we needed and everyone was so kind. It was our first time camping here and we will definitely be back! We really enjoyed the fishing pond and play grounds.

These folks hosted our church group for our fall event. The place was decorated very nicely, staff was extremely helpful and friendly, and our cabins were perfect for the group. I would highly recommend Laurel Lake Resort for any family or group outing. Can't wait to go back again!

As much as this was was a nice, quiet campground, I AM NOT happy with it. I have tried numerous times to get someone to contact me. Our grand kids traveled several hours south as we traveled several hours north to get to spend time together during Labor Day and use these facilities. On the day we went to swim and use them we were told it was closed due to another family being too rough and also someone sinking a paddle boats. Then we saw a family using the kayaks after we were told no. The worker said I couldn't contact the owners but she agreed it shouldn't have been closed but since she wasn't an owner she could do nothing about it. We won't be going back and if you know a family going tell them check it out good first. It's quite a bit more expensive than other campgrounds and not worth it.

We had a wonderful time with our grandson. Staff was very helpful. Site was spacious, easy to navigate. Grounds are clean. did not use indoor amenities beyond store but they had what we wanted. There is a dollar general just down the road for anything else.
