This review is from 2006, almost 20 years ago. I completely surrended my life to Christ here during camp. The memories still lives on after all these years. Good to see this place is still open. May God bless everyone who comes through for camp and fun! -Brian

From initial booking to saying goodbye, Andrew and the WL staff made our middle school youth group retreat a seamless and fun experience. There was always a fast response time, the price was reasonable, and the kids had a blast using the swing, rock wall, bazooka ball, bonfire, etc. We had our own spaces for group gatherings and small group meetings, and everyone was able to relax here. We just finished putting on a middle school fall retreat for about 100 or so students at Woodland Lakes Camp. It was a great experience. They were very cost effective and did everything they could to accommodate us even when it rained from sun up to sun down one of the days. I highly recommend Woodland Lakes for your next retreat, or to send your kids to this summer. My own two 3rd grade kiddos couldn't stop talking about their week at camp!

I was there for a retreat. The speaker was excellent, but I had a few issues with the facility. The old wooden bunk beds might be suitable for a younger group, but not for a 71 yr old man . The gym / meeting area could use some repair.

I love this camp! I went to this camp when I was a kid, and over 35 years later all three of my boys were campers and then we all have been counselors. This is the one place I look forward to coming to every year. This is where I have spent my one week vacation as a camp counselor for the past 6 years, because I believe there is no other experience like it. The camp has been able to upgrade a few... The camp has been able to upgrade a few things and add some additional fun things to do. But I do kind of miss having frogs in the showers. 😉 The staff is very friendly and always there to help if you need anything. I highly recommend WLCC!
