If you find yourself in the beautiful mountains of southwest Virginia in the Coeburn area and need a place to rest; don't hesitate to call and make a reservation. The people and place are truly amazing! Thank you all so much for the wonderful stay. Here is a couple photos of our site. The last night of our stay God Blessed us with the most beautiful rainbow.

Great place. Bruce, the host, is a gentleman and takes care of his renters. I didn't have many issues, but when I did, he was responsive, understanding and accommodating. I was very well taken care of. Dollar general, Food City and a great Mexican restaurant is within walking distance too.

As I'm packing up to get back on what can sometimes be a very lonely, and frustrating road I feel myself already missing Lonesomepine RV Park. I was welcomed last week with open arms. The level of hospitality I received from Bruce the proprietor, David and Theresa the campground management was nothing less than a blessing. This campground is located conveniently near city amenities shrouded by a small mountain community. Lonesomepine RV Park is clean, and quiet. David and Theresa go above and beyond what the normal management job entails. It was comfortable. More like home. The bathhouse is amazing!!! Even tho I have a shower in my camper I opted to use theirs. Best shower I have had in quite awhile. I have nothing but great things to say about this place. I absolutely will be back again even if it's just to visit. Thank you Bruce, David, Theresa and Lonesomepine RV Park!!! Definitely my new home away from home.

We stayed only one night on our way through the area... very quiet at night, very reasonably priced, fenced-in, no frills RV Park that also has storage for RVs and other vehicles. All of the RV sites were back-in (water/electric/sewer). There was a nice small dog park and a bath facility, but we didn't use them. All of the RV sites were back-in (water/electric/sewer). There was a nice small dog park and a bath facility, but we didn't use them. Bruce, although not a wordy fellow, was very polite over the phone, then took our info by text and reserved us a spot. The options for payment were cash or check, and we dropped it in the slot at the bath house (and having an envelope handy is helpful). It seemed that there were some long-term folks staying there and everyone was peaceful. We saw some deer along the treeline just outside the back fence.

Stayed for a month, would not recommend. Problem1: Owner doesnt live at park and has 2 very rude and belligerent park managers that get so faced every night they pass out in the chairs in front of their camper. Owner had everyone sign a paper with stated rules - fine, no problem. Paper doesn't say anything about neighbors voluntarily watching a vehicle while a move is taking place. Asked my neighbors if I could leave my 2nd car with them for a week until i could come back and get it. They said fine - owner told them it was fine - less than 36 hours after ive moved my RV owner tells me its his park and his rules - i dont get to make up my own rules...and that i need to come get my vehicle or he'll charge me storage. The vehicle wasn't in the way, or taking up space that he otherwise could've rented out. Considering he and I had ZERO problems up until today - i have to assume that his unwillingness to be reasonable is because he's not getting another months rent from me. So if $425 for rent or $60 for monthly storage was gonna make or break his month - maybe he's in the wrong business? Also...we're RVers...most of us have a pretty strong independent streak. Why would i ask YOU for permission (🤣) if I could leave my car at my neighbors lot - THAT THEY PAY FOR?? Swing your d**k in someone else's face buddy. Rules and regulations here are inconsistent and unreliable. If this is your last option for a nights stay - go to Love's instead.
