Overall a decent little campground. There are several spots with fire pits, picnic tables, hooks to hang up trash bags, and water spigots. As of October 2025 the bathroom is currently closed. The campground is within walking distance of Black Creek, which is an excellent swimming spot during the summer. The campsites are not too far from the road, so unfortunately you don't have the feeling of privacy you might get at other campgrounds. In my opinion, it's still one of the best free public campgrounds in the area

This campsite ended up being a last resort for us but I’m so glad we came across it! Somewhat Small and right off of the road but there are a couple of spots in a more private area near the creek. Nice beach/water access area to put canoes in, or cook breakfast!

Traveled by bicycle. Dogs barked all night long in surrounding area. Lady in a van tried to go through the stuff on my bike and immediately hightailed it back to her van when my motion alarm went off. Beautiful place, but not quiet and not safe.

We got here yesterday and so far so good. Looks like there's four camp sites with tables and pits. Restroom is by far the best one we've seen since camping. There's a path that leads down where were at and so far fishing is ok.lots of trees down in the water so plenty of snags. Plan on walking down to the beach part tomorrow.
