Duson is popular during peak season. Reserve 2-4 weeks in advance for weekends and holidays.
Most parks have check-in after 1:00 PM and check-out by 11:00 AM. Call ahead if you'll arrive late.
Louisiana weather can change quickly. Pack layers and check the forecast for Duson.
Don't miss local attractions near Duson. Ask the camp host for hidden gems and trails.

We spent one night here on 2/28/26. Great little park with full hook ups close to I-10. It's clean very reasonably priced and has pretty much everything you would need. I would bring earplugs since it is close to I-10.

This is an easy campground to stop and stay off I-10. It is so much more than a convenient stay though. The people were amazing and even provided a great breakfast before we got on the road. I will think about those biscuits and gravy until I stop again. 😄

Easy in and out. Right by diesel fuel. Hospitality was #1. Great owners. Invited all arrivals to Gumbo supper for New Year's Eve. Clean bathrooms/showers. Quite.

Absolutely one of the friendliest people we’ve had a chance to meet. Great sites and plenty to do in the area. She even let us know how to get to them. Very clean and no trash anywhere. Next best thing to being home
