After reading the reviews I got a little scared about coming into the park. I am so glad I really read them and understand when some people shouldn't write reviews. It was extremely easy in and out. The updates they are doing shows. Once complete, it will be a great place to stay for more than pacing through. If we travel back this direction from winter down south, we will be back.

The reason for this low rating is based on an overnight weekday stay. This place is mostly full timers with a few empty spots for travelers. All the vehicles must pass by our site to leave, some had loud music playing at this early hour but all made the gravel crunch. What a way to wake up and stay up. Nothing against full time workers and if I fell into that catagory I would stay here. However if you are passing through and want to sleep beyond 4 am you might want to go somewhere else. Maybe if they ever pave the roads it might be better as it would eliminate the dust and gravel and tire crunch. The site was faily level and nicely spaced from the next. Great water pressure.

Clean, quiet, but if you are not able to go internet good luck getting checked in. No one at office Sat at 3 pm. Waited along with others. Finally got online and checked in, but no map or signage how to find our spot or get out, no idea where anything was til we left in morning.

No brochure or site map Nothing showing you where bathrooms and laundry are located. Sites are good sized but pulling in is very narrow and if you miss judge you will end up in a ditch. The "roads" in the "Park" are just dirt. When I say dirt I mean the type that just makes a place a dustbowl without car constantly doing 30mpr pass your site all day and night. To make that even more fun they are building new sites adjecent to the existing ones and the large dumptrucks and bull dozers start at 6:30. While 75 percent of the people are full time construction workers on nearby projects and leave the park starting at 4:30 a.m. in diesel trucks, again at 30mpr with radios blasting. You can't open any doors or windows due to dust and if you have any issues with your lungs I wish you luck. Between 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm all hell breaks loose with trucks flying in an out of the campground making it impossible at times to even see your neighbor thru the dust. The actual road noise adds to the noise level in the camp making I a 10 out of 10 on the "am I in hell" scale. Dogs running around and chasing people. Construction workers partying until late into the night. I see no redeeming factor here at all. I won't be the only one giving a not so stellar review, as our elderly neighbors were the ones who after driving their motor home around for 30 min trying to find their site, ( no map) are the ones who almost ended up with their toad in the ditch. Stay at a state run truck stop, you will have better accommodations.
