They had a log cabin playhouse for the kids as well which ours loved! The gem mining station was a huge hit too! We appreciated the cute camp store and the kind and helpful staff. Every campsite was spacious and we especially enjoyed having a swinging log bench at ours! The amenities were great! This was the first time we’ve seen a dog washing station at a campground, what a great idea! And a small building full of toys for kids to play with was perfect for our rain day! It was close to Freeport and Portland, and we took day trips to Boothbay and Acadia from the campground. The campground made a great base for exploring Maine. We’re already looking forward to coming back!

We stayed here for several weeks this fall while my wife was working a travel nursing job in Portland. We stayed with a 27 ft travel trailer, 2 toddlers, and a dog. The playground was so much fun, the children wanted to spend all day and night playing at it. Laundry is onsite, WiFi and cell service was good, and the owners were incredibly friendly. We had a couple packages sent from family back home and they hand delivered it to us at our site. I would recommend this campground to anyone and everyone. Thank you to the owners for a wonderful experience!

My husband and I have been to several RV campgrounds in Maine around Freeport . We found Cedar Haven Family Campground this year and we were totally delighted. The staff is friendly, the campground is beautiful and well kempt. The playground is fantastic, they are pet friendly and actually have a dog wash. I strongly recommend Cedar Haven. Good job Cedar Haven.

We stayed here in our Tiffin RV for 6 days and thoroughly enjoyed it. It’s a great place, especially for families. But we enjoyed the safe walking and exploring the park. It’s a lot bigger than we thought it was. And it’s an easy in and out from 295. We were able to explore everywhere. We even went up to Acadia National Park. It was amazing! Thank you Maine!

We stayed for one night on our way to Acadia National Park and were very pleased with our visit. The pull-through site was level and easy to access. The campground itself is beautiful, quiet, and well-kept. It’s also conveniently located near L.L. Bean and the local outlets, which made it a perfect stopover spot. Would definitely stay again!
